Cody Anderson Returns From DL To Help Indians Top Brewers

There isn’t much more the Indians could have asked of Cody Anderson.

Fresh off his activation from the 15-day disabled list, Anderson subbed in for Carlos Carrasco on Wednesday night and pitched into the fifth to help Cleveland sweep a short two-game series with the Milwaukee Brewers at Progressive Field.

Jason Kipnis homered and drove in three runs, and the Cleveland Indians used six pitchers in a 6-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night.

Top Of Indians’ Order Comes Through In Win Over Brewers

In the midst of a very disappointing season, it is extremely easy to focus on the negatives. And for the Indians, there are quite a few of them.

But Cleveland’s 11-6 win over the Brewers on Tuesday night served as a reminder: The Tribe have a built a very impressive young core. And a a number of them were on display in the Indians’ victory over Milwaukee.
