Chuck_300x300In the 90s Chuck Booms was dubbed “one of the six young comedians in the country who could successfully replace David Letterman on television” by The New York Daily News and TV Guide. Now, in 2011, he is bringing his brand of comedy and sports talk to Sports Radio 92.3. The loud, opinionated and hilarious Euclid native and proud graduate of the University of Kentucky is sometimes referred to as “The Velociraptor of Comedy.” Booms got his comedic start in Cleveland as an emcee at a local comedy club. Since then the funnyman has toured the country as a headlining comedian, hosted a version of “The Gong Show,” and appeared on national television more than 150 times, including appearances on “Larry King Live,” “Politically Incorrect,” and the “Today Show.”
