– Ken Carman, a Perry High School and University of Akron graduate, started his love for sports radio while delivering papers around Canton at 11. His first job in the broadcasting world was hosting Friday Night Football, eventually working his way up to hosting his own show in Akron. Carman is a veteran play by play commentator, broadcasting area college sports and Akron Aeros Baseball on radio and television. He has also spent time as a sports reporter covering the Cavs, Browns, Indians, Buckeyes, the MAC, NASCAR and the PGA.
Carman signed his agreement to host nights at 92.3 The Fan at the steps of the church right before he married his wife two weeks before the station debuted in 2011. The Canton native won the best sports talker for his evening show according to in Cleveland Scene in 2015 before moving up in the broadcasting world to the morning drive co-host position at The Fan. You can also hear Ken on the PNC Bank Cleveland Browns Radio Network hosting their Preview Show and Coach’s Show which air on The Fan during the football season.
