Father’s Day is June 16 and with everything that Dad does for you, it’s time to do for him. Cleveland has a bunch of activities for you and Dad, from baseball games to muscle cars, so there’s a little something for everyone. Dad will surely enjoy the time spent with you and appreciate the thought you put in to planning something special for him.

Dad will receive half price admission to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and Rainforest on Sunday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Regular admission for adults ages 12 and up is $12.25 and $8.25 for children ages 2 to 11. All the animals will be out and there will be special Father’s Day activities throughout the day. A can drive will also be taking place so bring your aluminum cans and watch them be crushed with a steamroller.

Treat Dad to a day of baseball as the Cleveland Indians take on the Washington Nationals at 1:05 p.m. It’s the last game of a three game series, so come out to Progressive Field to cheer on your Tribe and enjoy some interleague play. Ticket prices range from $12 to $90, so there is a seat available for every budget. It’s also Key Bank Kids Fun Day at Progressive Field and kids can run the bases after the game.

Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is hosting the 56th annual Classic, Antique and Collector Car Show this Father’s Day, June 16. From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. there will be over 350 vehicles, including a wide array of muscle cars and top of the line contemporary cars, on display. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6 – 17. Kids age 5 and under get in for free.

What better way to celebrate Dad than with a round of golf. Big Met Golf Course, located in the Rocky River Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks, is one of Ohio’s most popular courses. Whether you want to play 9 or 18 holes, Dad will be sure to enjoy the game of golf and the wonderful conversation that comes along with it. A round of 18 costs about $40 per player, and tee times can be scheduled online or by calling Big Met.
