Voted best brunch in Cleveland by Metromix, Lucky’s Café is a small, eclectic eatery located in the Tremont neighborhood on Cleveland’s west side. Its menu is filled with local produce, meats and dairy products and also caters to vegans and vegetarians. Items like cheddar-scallion biscuits with scrambled eggs and sausage gravy, vanilla bean buttermilk waffles with strawberries and caramel sauce, homemade granola with fresh fruit and honey, and corn griddle cakes with elderberry syrup make appearances on the brunch menu. Lucky’s Café is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Situated in one of the area’s most easily identifiable buildings is Pier W, an upscale restaurant that juts out over Lake Erie on a platform that looks like a pier. In addition to breathtaking lake views, the restaurant also features an extensive brunch on Sundays. Pier W’s brunch menu features items like roast leg of lamb, sautéed pierogi with onions, eggs Benedict, grilled free range chicken and even a raw bar with Gulf shrimp and oysters in the half shell. A variety of domestic cheeses, fruits and salads are also available. Pier W is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (brunch) and 4:30 to 10 p.m.
