Oak Grove Picnic Area is part of the Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville Reservation. It is available to rent on Saturdays and Sundays in May through October for a fee of $200. On the day of your reservation, you have the area from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  The shelter fits up to 190 people and has a fireplace, picnic tables, electricity, grills, baseball field and swings. It is surrounded by a large grassy area that can be used for cornhole, ladder golf, or any other type of activity that your guests may want to do.

The Lights, Camera, Action! rental package at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is an ideal option for a graduation party. It is available Wednesdays year round and Saturdays Memorial Day through Labor Day, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. For $37 per person, you can choose the cafe or ground lobby for your party. Both locations of the Rock Hall offer spectacular views of Lake Erie that is sure to impress your guests. The cafe holds up to 75 people and the ground lobby can hold up to 125.

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has four outdoor picnic areas throughout the zoo that would make a great location for a graduation party. Available April through October with a rental fee of $300, each picnic area has it’s own unique feature. The Primate Picnic Canopy is located near the Primate, Cat and Aquatics building and sits under a 30′ x 60′ tent that fits up to 225 guests. The Waterfowl Lake Tent is centrally located in the Zoo and overlooks Waterfowl Lake. It fits up to 225 guests and uses a 30′ x 60′ tent. Wild Wings Tent is 20′ x 40′ and is located across from Savanna Ridge. This area will hold up to 100 guests and can be rented for $250. The last picnic area is Savanna Ridge, which will fit up to 180 people. Centrally located in the heart of the zoo, Savanna Ridge uses a 30′ x 60′ tent.

The Lake Erie Nature and Science Center has a few different rental options available for graduation parties. Rental of the entire Center is available from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is $750 an hour and includes use of the Grand River Room, exhibit hall, patio and fireplace. You can rent the Grand River Room that fits up to 150 guests for $250 an hour. If you have under 75 guests attending, you can rent the Grand River Room North or Grand River Room South for $125 and hour. Each option includes tables and chairs as well as direct access to the kitchen area.

Cleveland’s upscale bowling alley, the Corner Alley, has a couple of options to choose from for private parties. The Mezzanine  is a section in the dining room that holds up to 42 people. This space can be rented for a graduation party for $50 an hour. You can spoil your grad and select Millionaire’s Row, which is the VIP room at The Corner Alley and can be rented for $350 an hour. It fits anywhere from 15 to 65 guests and includes 4 private bowling lanes and a pool table.
