May 5th is a significant day in Mexican history, but it’s celebration reaches all the way through the northern borders of the United States. Better known as Cinco de Mayo, this day marks the Mexican militia’s 1862 victory over the French army at the Battle of Puebla. But it also translates to a huge celebration that people of all backgrounds and ethnicities join in throughout Northeast Ohio. Bars and restaurants across the city will be joining the party. The following establishments are sure to fill you with the Mexican spirit.
