Paul is acclaimed worldwide for his innovations with the classical guitar and has spent some time on Billboard’s top-ten list. The CCGS serves the greater Cleveland community by providing the very best in guitar performance in an effort to educate and entertain as well as raise up new talent from among northern Ohio’s lesser-known artists.

What began in 1955 as a way for eight friends to simply enjoy themselves and develop musically grew into the Suburban Symphony, now one of Cleveland’s premiere community orchestras. Last year’s concerts drew audiences of 300-500 people, so if you want a good seat you’d better show up early. Then settle in for an afternoon of the world’s greatest music offered, free of charge, by this team of over 80 skilled musicians.

In April of 1920, a small group of people came together with a desire to build a musical school where anyone could gain an education in music regardless of race, income or any other factor. The Cleveland Institute of Music was conceived on that day. Now in its 92nd year, the CIM will be offering its annual Masters Series this fall at its location on East Boulevard. Tickets and event details will not be made available until August, so mark your calendar now for an enriching evening featuring players on the piano, violin and cello.
