There are so many beautiful parks in the Cleveland Area. But if you are looking for a great view during your next run, here are some of the the best routes in the area.

Built in 1896 and dedicated to oiler John D. Rockefeller, Sr., this 270-acre, 7-mile park lies along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Superior Avenue. This scenic route borders the Wade Park, Euclid Avenue and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. This spectacular park offers historic stone bridges, wonderful landscaping and beautiful gardens, especially in spring and fall. The running paths are paved and lit at night.

Located off North Park Boulevard, this park offers two trails drenched in natural beauty. Nestled in the heart of woodlands, coming face to face with nature is inevitable on this trail. Observe squirrels, foxes and deer. Listen to the relaxing flow of streams, run by marshes and enjoy the shade of the covering trees. All People Trail is a .33-mile trail and The Stearns Trail is a mile long and staircases around the woodlands.

Officially opened in 1895, this park is truly an exhibit of history. Located in the city of Garfield Heights between Turney Road and Broadway Avenue, this park offers a 2-mile paved loop that includes two steep areas to challenge your endurance. Hidden deep in the woods, this trail offers views of a waterfall and a Slavik Village.

Formally known as the Wheeling and Lake Erie Rail Line, this 2.1-mile asphault trail is Cleveland’s best kept secret. Completed in 2007, the city of Cleveland paid $2,493,657 to transform the railway into a spectacular runway that weaves through the Broadway Slavik Village, prairie grasses, scattered beautiful Oak trees and sedges. The trial ends at the Garfield MetroParks Reservation, and boasts several entrances throughout the city. Find connections between Broadway and Ackley, Blanche Avenue off 55th and 49th streets.

This 2-mile, crushed stone trail intertwines and loops through 100 acres of wetlands and woodlands. The serenity of the sounds of nature and the possibility of deer and bald eagle sightings make this one of the most beautiful runs in Cleveland.
