On the October 6, 2013, edition of Cleveland Connection we learn about the Next Step Run for Shelter fundraiser.
Host Katherine Boyd talks with Kandi Withers, Director of Next Step; and Jerry Brown, a Board Member with LMM’s youth services branch.
Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM) helps people find jobs, stable housing, and counseling and support. It’s goal is to help people get a second chance and become self-sufficient, productive members of society.
Next Step, a program of LMM, provides older youth who are without a home or a stable living environment with shelter care and independent living. In addition to meeting the basic needs of housing, food and clothing, these gender-specific services also include counseling, independent-living skills and job placement.
