Tony Zarrella, the sports director at 19 Action News and host of Tailgate 19, came on the air this morning to talk with the guys about the Browns awful loss to the Bengals yesterday. Tony, who admitted to laughing at Chuck’s “key to the game” being the punting during Tailgate 19, but was quick to acknowledge Booms’ accuracy with the special teams being huge to the Browns coughing up their 13-0 lead en route to the Bengals 31 point second quarter. Tony said the blame was easy to spread around in this game, but if he had to pin it on one person, Tony said he puts the loss on Jason Campbell for missing throws early, and for staying in the pocket too long and not getting rid of the ball. The guys talked about Campbell’s multiple checkdown passes in the game as opposed to going deep in order to get back in the game.
