With with the signing of Rex Grossman to mentor a young Johnny Manziel and Brian Hoyer, we thought we’d take a look at some of the top QB brought in to mentor the team’s young ‘talent’ since 1999. Needless to say, none of them worked out very well.

The former Super Bowl winning QB was brought in for his leadership and playoff experience but was a disaster from day 1.

Jake Delhome

Delhomme, another aging QB with Super Bowl experience was brought in to be a stop gap to give rookie Colt McCoy time to develop, but an injury forced McCoy to come in sooner rather than later.
