Forecasts Call For Rain And Freezing Rain For Parts Of Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Forecasts are calling for rain, freezing rain and possible snow accumulation over the next day or so that could mean a messy Monday morning commute.

The National Weather Service says the greater Cincinnati area could see an inch of accumulation once the storm begins Sunday afternoon with some areas north of Interstate 70 getting up to four inches of snow.

Snow and freezing rain advisories were also in place in central Ohio beginning Sunday afternoon and eastern Ohio Sunday evening and into Monday.

Northern Ohio including Toledo and Cleveland were expected to see snow only.

The latest weather system includes a warm-up after last week’s single digit and in some cases below zero temperatures.
