Two things around the NBA always happen near Valentine’s Day – the All-Star game and the unique jerseys that accompany the high-scoring game. For years the NBA had a standard home white and away red jerseys.

Starting in 1991 they started getting creative until 1997 when the monstrosities finally stopped and the All-Stars just wore their team jerseys.

In 2003 the NBA hit the reset button and the players went back to wearing the traditional jerseys from the 1980s but 2004 they started doing custom jerseys again and the trend hasn’t stopped.

Here is a look back at the NBA All-Star Jerseys from 1990 until today.

Enjoy!
