6:28-Ohio State Linebacker Darron Lee has made it public that he’s tired of being asked about last years National Championship and he only wants to look forward to this year. Kiley & Carman discuss that mindset and if it is the right approach to take. They looks at carrying yourselves as the defending champions versus looking at it as having accomplished nothing yet in the 2015-2016 season.

7:26- Scott Scarborough, President of the University of Akron dives into the schools decision to cut baseball as they attempt to cut the multi-milllion dollar deficit. He describes the process that went into making that decision, some of the alternative ideas that were discussed, and the limitations they had due to NCAA and MAC requirements.

9:03-Curtis Danburg of the Indians joins the program along with Slider to help celebrate Sliders 25th birthday. The duo talks about a big promotional weekend for the Indians long with some of Sliders best and worst moments as mascot of the Indians. They will be honoring and unveiling the Larry Doby Statue on Saturday, along with fireworks.

9:45-Joe Mazur, President and CEO of the Soap Box Derby joins to chat about Saturday’s World Championships and today’s opportunity to ride down the hill in a soap box car. He chats about how big the competition of Soap Box Derby Racing is and some of the international competitors that have traveled to Akron to race. He describes some of the different divisions and car types they have.
