CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Cavaliers trailed by as many as 18 in the first half, but came from behind to beat the Portland Trailblazers on Tuesday night, 105-100, snapping the Cavs’ three-game losing streak.
LeBron James led Cleveland with a team-high 33 points and 10 rebounds. Kevin Love backed up James with 18 points, and Matthew Dellavedova added 17.
A smaller lineup to begin the third quarter — featuring James, Love, Dellavedova, J.R. Smith and Jared Cunningham — helped fuel the Cavs’ comeback. Cleveland outscored Portland in the third, 30-19, as the Cavs seized control of the contest.
Timofey Mozgov, who did not score or snag any rebounds in seven minutes on Tuesday, struggled and did not play after halftime.
Portland was paced by Damian Lillard, who scored 33 points, grabbed six boards and dished out six assists.
With the win, Cleveland improved to 14-7. The Trailblazers fell to 9-14.
