CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – With 2 games remaining in the regular season, Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue has made a lineup change.

Tristan Thompson takes over as the Cavs starting center for the team’s playoff run Lue announced Monday prior to their game against the Atlanta Hawks.

The switch pushes Timofey Mozgov to the bench and a reserve role.

“I just wanted to,” Lue responded when asked why make the switch.

Mozgov, who is one of the better rim protectors in the league and has scored in double figures 17 times this season, has struggled to find his role.

Thompson has played in 368 consecutive regular season games – the longest active streak in the NBA as well as in franchise history.
