CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Indians made it official on Tuesday, promoting right-handed pitcher Adam Plutko to the MLB roster from Triple-A Columbus.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the Indians designated left-handed pitcher TJ House for assignment.

Plutko split time between Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus this season, posting a 3.73 ERA in 161 2/3 combined innings in the Minors this year.

The 24-year-old righty went 6-5 with a 4.10 ERA in 15 starts with the Clippers to end the Minor League campaign.

House appeared in four games for Cleveland in 2016, giving up a run on six hits in 2 2/3 frames. The 26-year-old southpaw posted a 3.98 ERA in 72 1/3 innings at Triple-A this season.
