Agent Says Jimmy Garoppolo’s Instagram Goodbye Was Result Of Hacked Account

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Are the New England Patriots trading Jimmy Garoppolo?

A goodbye to New England early Friday morning appeared on the quarterback’s Instagram prompting speculation he is on the move.

A picture of Garoppolo holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy following Super Bowl LI appeared with the caption “So grateful for my time in New England. Peace out Boston ✌🏻”

Garoppolo’s agent Don Yee said the account was hacked and the post is a hoax.

“Jimmy’s social media account was hacked,” Yee told NFL Network Friday morning.

The post was taken down Friday morning.

Should the Patriots trade Garoppolo, the Browns are the presumed front runners to land him.

On Thursday, the Browns acquired quarterback Brock Osweiler from the Houston Texans along with a 2018 second-round pick, further strengthening their ability to pull off a blockbuster trade for Garoppolo or another QB.
