– A Chesterland native, Anthony is a 10-year veteran of the sports media world, along with radio duties at 92.3 The Fan, he has appeared on local, regional and national television while covering sports along and broadcasting numerous events by doing play-by-play and offering sideline reporting for sporting events. Anthony has also been a frequent contributor to More Sports & Les Levine as a guest and as a guest-host, and has worked as a sports and news anchor on Cleveland’s CBS-TV affiliate Cleveland 19.

Anthony came back home in 2011 to help launch The Fan, coming from YNN TV in Syracuse, NY, where he served as a TV reporter and anchor for two years and also filled-in frequently as a talk show host on the all-sports radio station TheScore1260. Before that, Anthony worked in Parkersburg, WV as a reporter and anchor at WTAP TV. Anthony has covered many big events, including the NCAA Basketball Tournament, The Big East Basketball Tournament, The Daytona 500, along with every high school sporting event one can imagine.

During his youth, Anthony was a fixture on the local radio scene in Cleveland, calling various shows under the moniker “SportsBoy Tony.” He attended college at The Ohio State University earning a duel major in Public Affairs Journalism and Political Science, and later went on to obtain his Masters in broadcasting at Syracuse University’s prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public communication. At Ohio State, he covered the state-wide political scene for the then-largest student newspaper in the country The Lantern.
