Ben Fontana | 92.3 The Fan

Ben FanAn upstate New York transplant, Fontana is the webmaster at 92.3 The Fan, creating and managing digital and social content for the station.

Fontana has spent his time in Cleveland working with The Ken Carman Show and the Bull & Fox as an update anchor, covering the 2016 World Series in Cleveland, the Cavaliers 2016 Championship parade, Indians Opening Day, and the Cavaliers in the NBA Playoffs and 2015 NBA Finals.

He began his broadcasting career in college at Syracuse University, where he covered the Syracuse football, lacrosse, and basketball team. He’s been to almost every ACC football field and basketball arena, from Durham to Tallahassee. But, Fontana’s favorite place he traveled to do play-by-play in college was at the Maui Invitational in Hawai’i in 2013.

While not working, you can find Ben catching up on Netflix shows, taking his daily 5-mile run in downtown Cleveland, or having a drink with his friends on the weekend.
