It’s the myth of the times; Saint Valentine. In Rome, it’s been said that Saint Valentine was arrested for illegally marrying soldiers on February 14. Just before his execution, he signed farewell to a letter written as, “Your Valentine.” An English historian found that Saint Valentine is buried at the Church of Praxades in Rome underneath a breath-taking almond tree that symbolizes friendship and love. Saint Valentine was and still is surrounded by the idea of love and long lasting love. But, even though, now, Valentine’s Day has become more of a Hallmark day for lovers and couples, it’s also a day enjoyed by singles. Cleveland’s singles can find an amazing venue to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
